For the month of February, here is my Glymm box:
I’ve always wanted a red lipstick for a very long time but could never justify it because it doesn’t look good on me. Hence, in the past, I usually only wear lip gloss till a few days ago. I was shopping in Eaton Centre and walked past the MAC counter in The Bay. Originally I was just going to purchase a lipstick for a friend but ended up buying my own first ever (well technically second, but my first one was a $2 NYC one so it doesn’t really count).
So after chatting with the MAC saleslady (and a whopping $58 although one is a gift for a friend) later, I came home with these:
So for those of you that know me, you will know that I’m into deals and whatnot. As a beauty blogger in making, I thought maybe I could use this opportunity to collaborate my interest for beauty products and passion for finding the best deals together. This brings me to this and future ‘Beauty Deals’ posts (creative I know… I’m working on it :P).
Anyhow, from what I’ve found, Physicians Formula is offering mail in rebates on these following products till December 15, 2012
- Organic Wear Lash Boosting Mascara ($7 rebate)
- Happy Booster 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush or Blush ($9 rebate)
- pH Matchmaker Bronzer, or Blush, or Lip Gloss ($9 rebate)
- Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Felt-Tip Eyeliner + Serum ($9 rebate)
- Mineral Wear Correcting Bronzer or Airbrushing Pressed Powder ($9 rebate)
- Youthful wear Concealer, or Foundation, or Powder ($9 rebate)
What’s even better is that Shoppers Drug Mart is offering a 40% off Physicians Formula products until this Friday, February 24, 2012!!! I personally just bought a couple of products today to take advantage of this deal.
Now I know I’ve said that I’m not a huge fan of nail polishes, but a friend told me about this deal that I just had to take advantage of. Julep Maven had a special offer for one of their nail polish boxes for $0.01!! A penny! Before I got this deal I had to fill out a beauty survey that matched me with a beauty profile for their various combinations of boxes. I can’t quite remember what my results were but I liked the American Beauty Box (and its colours better so I went ahead and order this box).
So this is the box. Unlike Glymm or Loose Button, Julep doesn’t have another box for packaging. I like and don’t like that at the same time. On one hand, it is more environmentally friendly (less packaging is used). On the other hand, I am a sucker for packaging so yea…
